An intense love of travel, discovering people and their cultures, as well as the quest for adventure were all part of what prompted my husband Mark and I to embark on a seven month journey backpacking throught Southeast Asia in 1984. Through this journey and the years that followed Water From the Moon evolved into the business it is today. Our travels took us to Thailand, Burma, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China. Yet, the island of Bali capture my soul like no other place.

Twenty-two years later, Bali with it's amazing culture, beautiful people and magnificent scenery still inspires me with every visit. Our family has been blessed to have Bali as a part of our life. I started taking our sons Makena (18) and Wyatt (12) both to Bali at nine months, and it is still their favorite place on the planet.
